I have a suggestion to those who present panto in Cork. That is, to go in all humility to the village of Coachford (Radio Eireann broadcast, 1962).
Our latest booklet ‘The Coachford Pantomimes’ has been released, which tells the story of these famous pantomimes, and contains images and details of those involved. It is now available, along with ‘The Flooding of the Lee Valley’ booklet, in local shops/businesses and directly from our website https://acrheritage.info/publications/ (personal collection arranged, digital versions sent, or hardcopies posted to anywhere in the world).
Get them for €5 each or both for €8 (excl. postage). Proceeds will help us promote & preserve local heritage, as a non-profit, voluntary organisation.
